A new lab scope measurement example about measuring a fuel pressure sensor in combination with a fuel metering valve is available. This measurement is performed using an automotive oscilloscope, measure leads, back probes.
Fuel delivery systems on modern engines use adaptive fuel pressure control to accommodate the fuel pressure required for the power output of the engine. The article explains how this fuel delivery system works and shows the results of voltage measurements performed on the fuel pressure sensor and fuel metering valve. A settings file with the measured data can be downloaded.
