High speed data acquisition, many ways to connect
The Automotive Test Scope ATS610004DW-XMSG, Automotive Test Scope ATS605004DW-XMS and Automotive Test Scope ATS5004DW add new dimensions to measurement applications. Connecting to your instrument, performing measurements and collecting measurement data can now be done on your desk, from the other side of your office, from the other side of your facility or even from the other side of the world. All you need is a USB connection or a WiFi connection or a wired LAN connection.
Standard oscilloscope use
With each type of data connection, standard oscilloscope use at the highest sampling rate of an instrument is available. Therefore, if you have an Automotive Test Scope ATS610004DW-XMSG, you can measure anywhere in the world with 1 GSa/s sampling rate, independently from the data connection.
Live streaming use or high speed data acquisition
When operating in live streaming mode, or high speed data acquisition mode, the instrument measures continuously without losing data. The live stream software supports the possibility to view the measured data and freeze it while measuring continues. The maximum sampling rate of the high speed data acquisition depends on the speed of the data connection. In a live streaming measurement the signal is continuously measured, without interruptions. During the high speed data acquisition, the measured data can be viewed immediately while it is also possible to browse through the measured data to see what has been measured already. The live stream is stored on the computer and can be reviewed later.
With a USB connection, the high speed data acquisition is fastest: 200 MSa/s (5 ns scan interval). With a wired LAN connection, the high speed data acquisition rate is approximately 20 MSa/s (50 ns scan interval). With a WiFi connection, the the high speed data acquisition rate is approximately 1 MSa/s (1 µs scan interval). These rates also depend on the performance of the used computer.
The high speed data acquisition function of the WiFiScope offers many possibilities to measure signals continuously at high speed without memory limitation. The WiFiScope can be used for continuous data logging up to a year. High speed data logging over a long distance is now possible, with a WiFiScope.
Measuring nearby
Very fast live data streaming of high speed data acquisition up to 200 MSa/s.
One PC connected to one WiFiScope directly with a USB cable
The WiFiScope is powered via the USB or via the external power supply, with battery backup.
Long distance measuring
Distances up to 100 m with one network cable. By adding network switches and additional network cables, the distance can be increased in 100 m steps.
Live high speed data streaming up to 20 MSa/s.
One PC connected to one WiFiScope directly with a LAN cable
The WiFiScope is powered by its built-in battery, or via the external power supply.
Galvanically isolated measuring
Measure galvanically isolated from the computer, within the WiFi signal range. Distortions caused by ground loops are avoided and the PC is protected against high voltage peaks. The WiFiScope can be used floating, when the application requires. Live data recording up to 1 MSa/s can be performed, up to many days long.
One PC connected to one WiFiScope directly via WiFi
The WiFiScope is powered by its built-in battery, or via the external power supply.
Long distance measuring with multiple WiFiScopes
Allows high speed live data streaming for days with sample intervals of 50 ns, or 20 MSa/s.
One or more PCs connected to one or more WiFiScopes with LAN cables
The WiFiScopes are powered by their built-in batteries, via Power over Ethernet, or via external power supplies.
Monitoring multiple processes and measuring at different locations
Measure with multiple PCs at different locations using multiple WiFiScopes at different remote locations. Live streaming up to 20 MSa/s is possible.
One or more PCs connected to one or more WiFiScopes in a wired network
The WiFiScopes are powered by their built-in batteries, via Power over Ethernet, or via external power supplies.
Galvanically isolated measuring with multiple WiFiScopes
When has to be measured at different locations and no ground loops are allowed or large potential differences can be present, multiple WiFiScopes with WiFi connection can be used. Live streaming with sampling rates up to 1 MSa/s is possible.
